Marisa Cachero is a qualified Health & Skincare Therapist and has been in the Beauty Industry for over 12 years
and truly understands the dynamics of this ever changing Industry by having gained much experience in
almost every avenue of the Industry. Marisa began her career in the product distribution side of the Industry by setting up and running the biggest professional skincare product division in South Africa with brands such as Guinot, Matis, Phytomer and OPI. A natural ability to speak in public and a passion for presenting new ideas and concepts led Marisa to her company she owns and
runs today. Marisa has been invited to lecture in the field of Spa Internationally Mauritius, UK, Australia, the Phillipines and Thailand without forgetting her roots in South Africa where is she truly a Spa Ambassador for the country by being involved in every aspect of the Spa Industry from lecturing at every spa conference to being a contributing writer for the professional trade magazines.

Marisa was awarded the South African Spa Ambassador Award and is very proactive in setting standards for the Industry.

The addition of other industry experts to The Spa Consultants family has made a respected and strong consultancy business even more solid and grow from strength to strength

Monique Hugo is a qualified Health & Skincare therapist and has been in the beauty industry for over 5 years. Monique finished her studies at the end of 2002 and worked as a beauty therapist, and then promoted to Manageress in a beauty salon in Sandton for 2 ½ years and later moved on to managing the Camelot spa in the Westcliff Hotel for a year. With a sound knowledge and experience in the practical and managerial side of the Beauty Industry Monique then took on the challenge of delving into the business side of the Industry and joined The Spa Consultants in January 2006 and has been working as the Training and Marketing manager of the company, which she as an absolute passion for. She specialises in the equipment side of the business and keeps herself busy educating therapists on the new and latest technologies!

Anna Houslay is a qualified Health & Skincare therapist has been in the industry for over 8 years and brings with her local and international experience. Anna worked in London’s largest day spa called the The Sanctuary at Covent Garden for a year and then moved on to train for Ultratone in the UK for over two years. On returning to South Africa she joined the management team at Life Day Spa in Gauteng and is now working closely with Marisa on the consultancy side of the business setting up new spas and carrying out operational contracts for some of South Africa’s leading Spa Groups. Anna will also be sharing the training responsibilities with Monique.
